Adrian Bourne
President
Adrian oversees all day-to-day operations at Unitech. He has been in the contracting industry since leaving the UK for Calgary in 1990, after almost 10 years in the British Army. Using his experience in all types of contract delivery, Adrian works closely with both existing and new customers to deliver the best possible solutions through all of Unitech’s departments.
Connie Williams
Senior Project Manager
Connie has worked in the electrical industry since 1981 and has been with Unitech since 1992. Her experience as an electrician has provided a great knowledge base for her position as senior project manager.
Stuart Borthwick
Urban Manager
Stuart is the Urban Manager at Unitech joining the Unitech team in 2001. Stuart specializes in the downtown market.
Mike Simmons
Datacomm Manager
Mike is the Data Communications Project Manager at Unitech Electrical Contracting, bringing over 27 years of industry experience to every project. His background spans communications infrastructure across healthcare, education, and complex commercial environments, with a strong focus on delivering practical, high-performance solutions.
Mike is passionate about design-build projects and takes pride in guiding clients from concept through to successful implementation. Known for his responsiveness, technical expertise, and commitment to service, he works closely with clients to ensure every project is delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
Whether it’s wireless access systems, CCTV, structured cabling, or fiber optic infrastructure, Mike is a trusted resource for comprehensive low-voltage solutions.
Charles Pollhaus C.E.T.
Security Manager
Charles has been in the electrical industry for 38 years and this will be his 20th year with Unitech. Currently Charles is a Service Manager looking after design installation and maintenance of commercial security access control system, CCTV camera systems, computer room and medical equipment monitoring systems, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies.
Jeffery Hodgkinson
Pre-Construction Manager
Jeff started with Unitech in February of 2000 as a work experience student, finished his electrical ticket in 2005 and continued working in the field as a site foreman until 2010. He started estimating in 2010 and now manages our Pre-Construction Services team.
Martyn Darling
Electrical / Mechanical Manager
Martyn manages all our mechanical projects, including baggage handling systems and parcel/packaging conveyor systems, as well as some of the more technically challenging electrical projects. He joined Unitech over 11 years ago as a journeyman electrician. His broad construction experience and strategic approach makes him a valuable member of the project management team. Martyn gained his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2018.
